The European Policy Centre is pleased to invite you to this online Policy Dialogue on the outcomes of the 27th UN Climate Change Conference (COP27), held in Sharm El Sheikh between 6 and 18 November this year. The discussion will consider the state of play with regard to the climate emergency. It will also reflect on the next steps for global climate action and the obstacles and opportunities ahead. Special consideration will be given to how the Covid-19 pandemic and Russia’s war in Ukraine have impacted mitigation efforts across the world, as well as to the issue of climate finance. Last but not least, the event will discuss the role of the EU in enhancing global climate action and ensuring the effective implementation of the agreed measures.
