The EPC explored Europe’s economic outlook for 2016 at this annual expert Policy Dialogue chaired by Fabian Zuleeg, EPC Chief Executive and Chief Economist. Following initial reflections from Zuleeg on the multiple challenges facing the EU at the moment and their implications for the economy, high-level representatives from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and European Commission considered the state of play, latest forecasts and potential opportunities for the year ahead. There was consensus that the year will most likely see steady but unspectacular growth in most of the euro area, with a number of significant risks.
