This edition’s Special Focus discusses the renewed momentum in the fight against racism in Europe following the Black Lives Matter protests in June. Civil society voices have revealed the persistent challenges regarding police violence, discrimination and historical racism in the continent. Responses to calls for action, however, have so far been tepid.
